Lemon-Aid

{This page is about finding the lemons, and turning them into something desirable, like Lemonade!}
Original table had a light laquer on it, I scuffed it up and it took the paint easily!

I like to use stain to add a distress look. I lightly sand the edges and rub a few spots with sandpaper. Then I use a paper towel, and wipe it on. I let it sit for 30 seconds or so, and then I wipe it off. You will need to let it sit over night. It may still be a little tacky, but it will dry.

So spray paint is a great way to go. My problem is, I always want my furniture to match the laytex paint I have bought for the room. So I use Laytex. I guess I should match spray paint. I like to use a semi gloss paint on furniture and trim. It is easier to see brush marks, but it looks really great and smooth.
